SCOUTS HONORED: Boy Scout Troop 790 of Barboursville, will conduct an Eagle Scout Court of Honor tomorrow at Elmwood Baptist Church. The scouts being honored are Ryan Beals, son of Donald and Debbie Beals of Barboursville; Renato Castillo, son of Rey and Sandra Castillo of Huntington; Dylan Elder, son of Gary Elder and Jacqueline Scherer of Huntington; and Hayden Ansinelli, son of Dr. Richard Ansinelli and Debra Cummings of Barboursville. Ryan, Renato and Hayden completed Eagle projects at the Green Bottom Wildlife Management Area. Dylan completed his Eagle project at Cabell Midland High School. Guest speaker at the Court of Honor will be Brandon Dennison, Troop 790 Eagle Class of 2004 and graduating senior at Shepherd University. Senior patrol leader for the troop is John Castillo. Scoutmaster is Jim Wilson.
Don Rigsby is a veteran bluegrass musician who hails from the same part of eastern Kentucky that also produced Ricky Skaggs, Larry Cordle and Keith Whitley.

CAIRO, W.Va -- The National Marble Museum, with an extensive collection of historic and contemporary marbles, will relocate from the West Coast to a new home at the Museum of American Glass in West Virginia in Weston. The announcement was made Saturday at the 12th annual Marble Festival in Cairo, W.Va. The festival attracted marble collectors for identification and games. In addition, there was a show and sale of antique, collectible and new machine and handmade marbles.
