Kati Elizabeth Bailey, daughter of Mark and Jane Bailey of Huntington, and William Alejandro Holland, son of Billy and Lucy Holland of Washington, W.Va., were married Aug. 18, 2012. Kati is the granddaughter of Dot Jeter of Barboursville, W.Va., and the late Robert Jeter and the late Lexie and Lawrence Bailey of Lavalette, W.Va.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Carol McKay at the Ritter Park Amphitheatre in Huntington. Music was provided by Taryn Thomas and Josh Abbott. As part of the ceremony the couple participated in a foot washing as performed in the Bible as a symbol of humility in their love and mutual service to each other.
The bride was escorted by her father. Matrons of honor were Sarajane Agypt, sister of the bride, and Kayla Cole Mitchell. Bridesmaids were Nikki Frye, Jessie Herman, Miko Alley, Kelly Armstrong, Kristin Hayes, Haley Maynard, Jessi Bailey and Gena Spratt. Best men were Joe Holland, brother of the groom, and Reece Holtz. Groomsmen were Matthew Bailey, brother of the bride, Brett Agypt, brother-in-law of the bride, Cedric Davis, Bobby Morris, Mike Anderson, Yo Hioki, Josh Abbott and Ricky Robinson. Ring bearers were Jack Angle and Luke Pyles. Guestbook attendants were Sarah Patrick, Hang Phan and Ashley Gingrich.
A reception was held at the Big Sandy Arena Conference Center. The couple honeymooned in Ecuador.
Kati graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2007 and Marshall University in 2011. She is a Registered Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital and will begin Nurse Practitioner school at Marshall University in January 2013. Will graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 2004 and Marshall University in 2010. He is employed by United Way of the River Cities as Director of Resource Development.
