Wedding vows were exchanged by Mary Jo Hutchinson and George Creighton Ellis on May 22, 2009, at Catlettsburg, Ky.

The bride is the daughter of the late John and Rosie Delapa. She is a graduate of Logan (W.Va.) High School.

The groom is the son of Joann Ellis and the late Russell E. Bennett Sr. He is a graduate of Fairland High School, Proctorville, Ohio.

The bride was escorted by Dwight Blower, a friend of the couple. Maid of honor was Sandra Buskirk, a friend of the couple.

Best man was Aldie Bostilla, a friend of the couple.

A reception was held at VFW Post 9738 Guyandotte.

Following a honeymoon in Nashville, Tenn., the couple resides in Proctorville.
