Patty and Jack C. Trainer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., celebrated their 50th anniversary with an open house on Feb. 3, 2008, given by their children and their spouses at 2907 Coral Shores Dr., Fort Lauderdale.

They were married Feb. 1, 1958, in Russell, Ky.

He is the son of Jack M. and Jane Trainor, and is retired.

She is the daughter of Walter and Cassie Gissel, and is a dental hygienist.

They are the parents of Amy Fortgang of Boca Raton, Fla., Bridget Ryder of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla., Carrie Rajek of Suwanee, Ga., Dawn Holmquist of Coral Spring, Fla., Jack M. Trainor of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Clark Trainor of Plantation, Fla. They also have 15 grandchildren.
