Rachel Elizabeth Sargent, daughter of Eric Sargent and Ronda Leonard, and Matthew Steven Bess, son of Lawrence and Theresa Bess, were married Sept. 29, 2012. The ceremony was held at St. Joe Catholic Church in Huntington and officiated by Father Dean Borgmeyer. The reception was held at the Guyan Golf and Country Club.

After a honeymoon in Savannah, Ga., and Hilton Head Island, S.C., the couple returned to their home in Crown City, Ohio.

Rachel is the Director of Operations at Hospice of Huntington. She graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a Master's in Health Care Administration. Matt is an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab at St. Mary's Medical Center. He graduated from the University of Rio Grande with a Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology and from Marshall University with a Master's in Exercise Physiology.
