Holderbys' 55th

Thomas and Barbara Holderby are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.
They were married in Catlettsburg, Ky., on March 2, 1958. The couple has lived on Big Paddy in Rome Township the past 55 years.
Tom has owned several businesses in the Proctorville area, the last being Tom's Plumbing and Propane, from which he retired in 1999.
Barbara retired from Owens Illinois with 28 years service and then went to work at Kroger's and retired in 2010, with 10 years service.
Tom and Barbara spend much of the summer in their garden, growing mostly tomatoes.
They had three children, Terri, wife of Hook Dempsey, Maryville, Tenn.; Tammy, wife of Rick Carter, Waynesville, Ohio; and C. Tom (deceased). They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
