Rev. Cleo Watson and his beloved bride, Delsie of Scottown, Ohio, are celebrating 67 years of marriage. They were married Aug. 11, 1947, by the late Rev. Homer Click.
Cleo is the son of the late Jay and Nellie Watson. Delsie is the daughter of the late Elgie and Ruth Sullivan.
They are the parents and grandparents of Danny (Sharon) Watson of Scottown, Ohio, Peggy (Darren) Shobe of Lavalette, Jay (Melinda) Watson of Florida, and Kacey (Ben) Johnson of Wayne. They are the great-grandparents of Christian, Lincoln and Max. Awaiting their arrival in heaven are two precious angels, son Donnie and great-granddaughter Ruby Gracyn, along with a host of brothers and sisters.
Cleo is retired from Houdaille Industries. Delsie is retired from the Symmes Valley School District after 35 years of service. Cleo and Delsie have served the Lord in several area churches for many years, and he is currently the pastor of Scottown Chapel. God has truly blessed them with many years of marriage and a loving family.
