Rick and Sandy Loperfido of Raceland, Ky., are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsey Elizabeth Loperfido, to Nicholas Kane Newlon, son of Joe and Carol Newlon of Milton, W.Va.

Chelsey graduated from Raceland-Worthington High School. She will graduate from Ohio University with her Bachelor's Degree in Health Communication Studies in December. Nick graduated from Cabell Midland High School and Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. He is currently employed at Marathon Petroleum in Catlettsburg, Ky.

The recognition and celebration of their new lives will be held at Rocksprings Winery in Grayson, Ky., on Aug. 11, 2012.

The couple will reside in Huntington, W.Va.
