Rev. Cleo Watson and his beloved bride, Delsie of Scottown, Ohio, are celebrating a true blessing of 65 years of marriage. They were married Aug. 11, 1947, by the late Rev. Homer Click.
Cleo is the son of the late Jay and Nellie Watson. Delsie is the daughter of the late Elgie and Ruth Sullivan.
They are the parents and grandparents of Danny (Sharon) Watson of Scottown, Ohio, Peggy (Darren) Shobe of Lavalette, W.Va., Jay (Mendy) Watson of Florida, and Kacey (Ben) Johnson of Wayne, W.Va. They are the great-grandparents of Christian and Lincoln, and Max. Awaiting their arrival in heaven are two precious angels, son Donnie, and great-granddaughter Ruby Gracyn, along with a host of brothers and sisters.
Cleo is retired from Houdaille Industries. Delsie is retired from the Symmes Valley School District after 35 years of service as a cook. Cleo has lived his life serving the Lord, and pastoring area churches faithfully. Delsie has blessed many people with her beautiful, strong alto voice and her wonderful home cooked meals. God has truly blessed them with many years of marriage and a wonderful family.
