Swanns' 50th

John M. and Mary Adkins Swann married Dec. 15, 1962, celebrate 50 years.

Mr. Swann is the son of Jack and Zama Swann, and Mrs. Swann is the daughter of Mary Hazel Adkins, all deceased.

He is an Army veteran and retired from CSX Transportation. She retired from Pro Nursing. They have three children, six grandchildren and 5-1/2 great-grandchildren.

They reside in Barboursville.
