The marriage of Suzanna Lee Crews, daughter of Dr. Greg and Gina Crews of Barboursvile, W.Va., to Nathan Jeffrey Davenport, son of Jeff and Beth Davenport of Taylor Mill, Ky., took place July 6, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Huntington.
Father of the groom, Pastor Jeff Davenport, and cousin of the bride, Rev. Dr. Rod Barnett, officiated. Music was provided by Mark Smith, pianist; Julio Alves, guitarist; and Kristen Alves, violinist. A duet was performed by the bride and groom.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Maid of honor was Elayna Conard, friend of the bride. Matron of honor was Lauren Gilmore, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jessie Beahrs, friend of the bride; and Lexie Flint, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Faith Lambert, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Mitch Davenport, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Convertini, friend of the groom; Andrew York, friend of the groom; Tyler Kirkpatrick, cousin of the groom; and Kyle Gilmore, brother-in-law of the groom. Junior groomsman was Noah Lambert, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Tyler Haworth, cousin of the bride; David Harmon, friend of the groom; Eli Kitchen, friend of the groom; and Aaron Butler, friend of the groom.
Taper lighter was Jonathon Lambert, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Laelle and Karys Gilmore, nieces of the groom. Bell ringers were Sophia and Caroline Crews, cousins of the bride.
Ring bearers were Jackson and Grayson Tilley, twin cousins of the bride.
"Simple Gifts" was played on the piano, and a candle of remembrance was lit in memory of Spencer Gregory Crews, beloved brother of the bride.
Program attendants were Natalie, Sophie and Jack Eastone, friends of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Megan Turman, friend of the bride; and Sarah Lambert, cousin of the bride.
A dinner reception and dance was held on the lawn at the home of the bride.
The bride graduated from Cabell Midland High School and is a senior at Marshall University majoring in Communication Disorders. She is employed by Bright Futures Learning Center.
The groom graduated from Rock Hill High School and Cedarville University with a bachelor's degree in youth ministry. He is the youth director at Steele Memorial United Methodist Church and a sales associate at Goldy Auto.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba. They reside in Barboursville.
