Get Healthy Tri-State: Exercise classes, screenings coming up
HUNTINGTON -- Exercise for seniors and screening and education for the whole family is being offered throughout the Tri-State this week.
Some upcoming events include:
10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, Beginners Seniors in Motion class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays in the St. Mary's Medical Center wellness center at the Regional Heart Institute, $1 fee per class, 304-526-6670.
4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 3, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital's Healthy Community Services offers free cholesterol, glucose, hemoglobin and blood pressure screenings at Coal Grove's Family Fun Day, Paul Porter Park, Coal Grove, Ohio, 606-833-CARE.
7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 3, master Zumba class party at Huntington High School, $25 at the door, 304-208-4525.
5:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, ovarian cancer support group meets at the education center at Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital, 304-526-2443.
5:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, baby basics class at King's Daughters Medical Center health education center teaches kids ages 3 to 10 years old to help with baby care, including feeding and diapering, registration required, 888-377-5362.
