KDMC offering new transport services

July 01, 2009 @ 12:00 AM

ASHLAND -- King's Daughters Medical Center is providing ambulance and transport services to Boyd and Greenup counties in Kentucky as a result of a new subsidiary, King's Daughters Medical Transport.

KDMT will initially employ about 40 team members. To oversee day-to-day operations, KDMT has partnered with Parastar, a nationally recognized EMS management and consulting firm.

"We consider this an excellent opportunity to give back to our communities," said Fred Jackson, president/CEO for KDMC. "We are looking forward to providing ambulance and transportation to residents, businesses and other health care facilities."
