HUNTINGTON -- This recipe makes 24 turkey meatballs and comes from King's Daughters Medical Center's www.weloveyourheart.com.

Ingredients:

1 pound skinless white turkey meat, ground

2 slices white bread, diced

1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

1/4 cup grated Romano cheese

2 egg whites

1/2 celery rib, finely chopped

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon basil.

Mix all ingredients together well. Shape into small balls. Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

This recipe contains 44 calories, 1 gram of total fat, 14 milligrams of cholesterol and 58 milligrams of sodium.
