<p>WINNERS: Cabell County students participated in the Regional Math Field Day competition on March 20 and faired very well. Fourth-grader Charles Newfeld of Village of Barboursville Elementary earned second place; sixth-grader Zach Stevens of Our Lady of Fatima earned first place; seventh-grader Chandler Smith of Beverly Hills Middle School earned first place; eighth-graders William Zhang of Beverly Hills and Charlie Jie of Huntington Middle earned first and second place, respectively; ninth-graders Dilum Aluthge of Huntington High and Stephanie Rice of Covenant earned first and third place, respectively; and Huntington High School's Alex Dementiev, Sam Shideler and Alex Williamson earned a clean sweep of first, second and third.</p>
