Cox Landing students design stamps

LESAGE -- Lesage Postmaster Teresa Cassity challenged Cox Landing Elementary students to design a new stamp for the Postal Service.

Art teacher Diane Frazier worked with the students during the past week, using their creativity and imaginations to come up with some very impressive ideas.

Now the public has a chance to choose their favorite design. From today through Tuesday, May 13, the designs will be on display at the Lesage Post Office, 6596 Ohio River Road, Lesage, for people to vote on.

Winning artists will receive one of three prizes, including a Star Wars Stamped Postal Cards set, the Art of Disney American Commemorative Collectibles set and a Sylvester & Tweety Matted Postal Stamp set.
