Hospital holding raffle to support children's project
HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell Huntington Hospital Auxiliary is holding a raffle to support the Children's Hospital Project.
The Cash for Kids Raffle takes place from July 1 to Sept. 30, with a winner drawn each Wednesday. Each $20 chip purchased is entered into each of the 14 drawings to be held at the hospital. Winning chips are returned to the weekly drawing, making it possible for participants to win multiple times.
The first prize, to be awarded July 1, will include a Great Wolf Lodge and King's Island trip package. Other weekly prizes include summer fun packages stocked with summer items, a fall indoor fireplace package with furniture, a Marshall University sports package with athletic event tickets and cash prizes of $100, $500 and a $1,000 grand prize to be awarded on Sept. 30.
Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to participate and may buy as many $20 chips as they want. Each chip is numbered and can be purchased at tables outside the Cabell Huntington Hospital cafeteria or in the Marshall University Medical Center atrium Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through the end of June. Chips can be purchased any time by calling 304-526-2113.
