Registration open for West Virginia drama camp
CHARLESTON -- Theatre West Virginia is accepting applications for its summer drama camp. Three camps, all in August, are available.
The first, Drama Camp for Beginners, is from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 4-8. It is for ages 7 and up.
The second camp, a voice and movement workshop with Dr. Pamela Chabora, is from 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 4-8, for ages 11 and up.
The third camp, Drama Camp for Intermediate and Advanced Students, is from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 11-15, for ages 7 and up. Attendees to this camp must have taken Drama Camp for Beginners.
All camps are $110. Campers who want to take the beginner and intermediate drama camp can get both for $185.
Children will have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain self-confidence, explore new avenues and learn about working together to put on a final presentation.
