Tech Center offering students free classes
HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell County Career Technology Center is offering free classes to county high school students starting Monday, June 30.
The program is good for students looking for courses that will count as credit toward graduation or those wanting to explore what the Technology Center has to offer.
Courses include Algebra I, Algebra II, Auto Mechanics, Auto Body, Building Construction, Cisco Electronics, Geometry, Graphic Arts, Heating and Air Conditioning, Machine Tool Technology and Welding.
No pre-registration is required. Students simply need to show up at the school, located at 1035 Norway Ave., Huntington, at 8 a.m. Monday. Classes will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily until Friday, Aug. 1.
