Fatima kids raise funds for Uganda school

HUNTINGTON -- Seventh-grade students at Our Lady of Fatima Parish School raised enough money in 2008 to pay for the entire cost of a well for a school in Uganda,

The fundraising project was done through Drop in the Bucket's Kids helping Kids program, which was founded in 2006 and has built or is currently constructing 17 wells.

Each well costs $3,500 and will provide safe drinking water for more than 500 children in a school.
