The following programs are coming up at the Cabell County Public Library and its branches:
Monday, July 14
10 a.m. at Cox Landing -- Mark Buchanan from the West Virginia Conservation Agency will present a program on "Soils and Streams -- How Good Is Your Water?" The program is interactive and suited for children ages 4 and up. He also will present the program at 10 a.m. at the Barboursville branch Tuesday, July 15.
10:30 a.m. at Guyandotte -- Cheryl Hodge from the Greenbrier Garden Club will present a butterfly workshop. Following the program, each family will receive a Painted Lady larva to nurture until metamorphoses into a butterfly and then set it free. Preregistration is required. The program is intended for children ages 5 and up. Also at 10:30 a.m.. at the Milton branch Tuesday, July 15.
10:30 a.m. at Salt Rock Library -- The Huntington Museum of Art will host a "catch your own bug" craft program. For all ages. Also at the main branch at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 17.
Tuesday, July 15
10:30 a.m. at the Main Library -- "Building Fun With LEGOS" with Linda Hamilton of the Rahall Transportation Institute. Children of all ages will use LEGO elements to build city neighborhoods, places to work, and vehicles. Also at Guyandotte at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

10:30 a.m. at Gallaher Village -- Stacy Bond will do a special story hour "Wings, Stings & Wiggly Things." Explore the wonderful world of bugs with stories, games, dancing and crafts. For all ages. Also at Salt Rock at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 17.
Friday, July 18
10:30 a.m. at West Library -- Orkin will do a special program on bugs.
