Zachary Evan Roberts, son of Kevin and Patty Roberts, is a sophomore majoring in English and fine arts at the private men's college. NEWBORN: On April 5, Jonathon Chase Davis arrived in the world at 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches long. His parents are Tiffany and Todd Davis of Clarksburg, W.Va. His older sister, Makenzie, celebrated her second birthday April 27, with grandparents Kim and Terry Scarberry of Huntington. Great-grandparents are Susie Scarberry, Ed Scarberry, Thuerl Brewer and Carolyn Brewer, who passed away the day before Baby Chase was born.
MILITARY: Air Force Airman 1st Class Matthew D. Ison graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Matthew, a 2004 Jackson High School graduate, is the son of Doug and Paula Ison of Jackson, Ohio.
MEET: GFWC of Cox Landing meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Lions Club Building, Kyle Lane. Installation of new officers is conducted by Roselyn Roush, Point Pleasant Woman's Club president. He wasn't aware of anyone buying paint, so he called the store to point out its mistake. "I'm sorry," he told the manager, "but there are no Christians here at this church."
