HUNTINGTON -- Here are the September classes at Le Cook Store, located at 911 3rd Ave., in Huntington. Class space is limited, so reservations and/or early registration is recommended.

"Avoid the Freshman 15," 5:30 p.m., today. Statistically, freshmen gain 15 pounds their first year in college from unhealthy eating habits. Learn how to make quick, healthy, balanced meals and also how to "eat out" with more balance. $25.
Football Feast, Monday, Sept. 8. A repeat of our August Football Feast class teaching you how to prepare and host a no-fail tailgate party. $25.
Return to Greece, Wednesday, Sept. 10. A repeat of our most popular "Go for the Gold" class featuring spanikopita, souvlaki, moussaka and tsatziki. $25
Simple Desserts, Thursday, Sept. 11. Simply quick and easy desserts for friends and family. $25.
People's Choice Chili, Friday, Sept. 12. Not competition chili, but good old-fashioned, hearty, stick-to-your ribs chili complemented with cornbread and for dessert, a green apple green chili pie. $25.
Fall Vegetable Fare, Tuesday, Sept. 16. Using the bounty of fresh fall vegetables, we will make ham and bean soup, stuffed cabbage and sweet potato pie. $25.
Biscotti and Quick Breads, Thursday, Sept. 18. Make cranberry/white chocolate biscotti along with a sweet quick bread. Perfect for coffee, dessert or snack time. $25.
Rosh Hashanah Favorites, Saturday, Sept. 20. To celebrate the Jewish New Year, which begins Sept. 29, we will make many New Year traditional favorites including challah bread. $25.

Just Cupcakes, Friday, Sept. 26. Make and decorate a variety of gourmet cupcakes that are sure to please everyone in the house. $25.
Quiche and Crepes, Monday, Sept. 29. This class is so popular it has become a once a month favorite. You'll make and take home your own quiche and make some thin crepes filled with a fresh fruit mixture and topped with chocolate sauce. $25.
