RETURN: It was a safe return for Dr. Jeff and Magaly Overstreet of South Point, Ohio. The Overstreets, along with four sons -- Joseph, 17; Justin, 15; Jordan, 10; Johnny, 8 -- started a two-year mission trip in Bolivia, but were released after 14 months due to the country's political situation. It's good to have them back to share their story of working with Quechua Indians on the mission field.
SALE: Come rain or shine, a rummage and hot dog sale is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at 1033 8th Ave. Call Diann Bevans, 304-544-0701.
CF: That's the letters for Compassionate Friends Tri-State Chapter, a new support group for those who have lost their children. The group, free to the public, meets at 6 p.m. Thursdays at Sixth Avenue Church of Christ.

CHUCKLE: The local minister warned the congregation one Sunday to prepare to meet their Maker. He said, "Every single member of this congregation is going to die." "What's so funny?" he asked one man who seemed to enjoy his stern words. "I'm not a member of this congregation," the man answered.
