HARVEST BEAUTIES PAGEANT
Bumble Bee Pageants presents Harvest Beauties Pageant on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Chapmanville, W.Va. The final deadline is Monday, Sept. 22, and costs $50.
Overalls and Supreme's included in entry fee. All contestants will receive a trophy, T-shirt and gift bag. The first 10 people to sign the guest book on the Web site will win a discount on entry fees and the first paid entry will receive an award.

MISS HUNTINGTON HOMECOMING
The Miss Huntington Homecoming Pageant begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at the Pullman Plaza Hotel.
The winner will reign over the Huntington Homecoming/Applebutter Festival Oct. 17-19. Contestants must be between the age of 16 and 21 on or before Oct. 10, and be a resident of Cabell or Wayne county. The winner will also have the opportunity to compete in a nationally-recognized state pageant.

MISS APPLEBUTTER

Pageant winners
Miss West Virginia Coed
Elizabeth Brooke K. Yeager was crowned Miss West Virginia Coed and will be representing the state at the Miss America Coed Pageant in Florida Thanksgiving week. Yeager is the daughter of Douglas and Kimberly Yeager, granddaughter of Melvin and Roxie Cox and Raymond and Wilma Yeager.
Yeager currently attends Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, majoring in Nursing and Pre Medicine. She hopes to attend medical school at Marshall University.
Yeager believes that pageants are a great way for young ladies to build self confidence and self worth.
"Learning the proper way to interview and speak in public has helped me obtain my full scholarship at Wright State University," she said. "I have also been accepted in to Wright States Medical School, because of my pageant interview skills."
Her hobbies include genealogy, scrapbooking, reading, and she enjoys watching the family race in Genoa.
