H-D, radio stations launch Music Makers contest

HUNTINGTON -- Have you always wanted to play your music at Pullman Square's concert series?

Do you have a cool music video?

The Herald-Dispatch, The Dawg, 93.7-FM, and The Planet, 92.7-FM, are sponsoring Tri-State Music Makers, a contest that starts Monday, May 12, for area musicians, singers and bands.

Log onto www.herald- dispatch.com and upload your music video and a photo of you and/or your band.

Entry fee is a $10 donation to our local MDA Chapter. Artists have from May 12 through May 21, to enter the contest online.

The top three finalists from the results of online voting will perform live at the Dawg Dazzle on the Fourth of July at Pullman Square.

And the grand prize winner, voted on by July 10, will receive a $1,000 prize package and will appear in The Herald-Dispatch, and on The Dawg and The Planet radio stations.
