Country rock Bo Bice replacing Tiffany at Saturday concert in Ashland

Jan. 31, 2012 @ 11:03 AM

ASHLAND — Stephen Salyers’ All You Need is Love charity concert had some super ‘80s-star power as Nashville-based country singer Tiffany was set to headline.
However, because of her mother’s illness in California, Tiffany has had to cancel, but is being replaced by that long-haired Alabama rocker, Bo Bice, who played second to Carrie Underwood in the fourth season of American Idol.

Bice, who has chalked up three albums and such hits as "Inside Your Heaven,” will be singing some of his favorite love songs at this second annual event set for Saturday, Feb. 4 on stage at the historic Paramount Arts Center in Ashland.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. for the concert at which chocolates and coffee will be served while such artists as Rob McNurlin, Angie Fletcher, Ben Robinette, Ryan Hardiman, Stephen Salyers, and Chesi Spriggs, a Paintsville singer who made the Top 40 of “X Factor’ take the stage.

The show is sponsored by the Stephen Salyers Charities Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit organization. There will also be a silent auction with many Valentine’s Day related items.
Only 200 tickets are available. Tickets are $15 each or corporate tables with seating for four are $250.
Last year’s concert sold out. To reserve tickets, call 606-329-1007 or 606-923-0670.
