Marjorie "Jack" Perdue turned 100 years old on Sept. 27. She and her husband owned a country store on 5th Street Road, Huntington, for many years. When we were small, all of us kids went to their store every morning to await the school bus. There was a big birthday party for her Saturday and hundreds of people came.
