We have discovered a treasure trove of old negatives and photos at The Herald-Dispatch. Some of the images, we know. Others, we have no idea.

In the coming months, we will scan the negatives and photos, which are crumbling and degrading as the years pass.

These photos are of members of the 1949-1950 Marshall College men's basketball team. The photos were shot at Vanity Fair, built in 1915 at 629 4th Ave. It was home to the Marshall College basketball team, until the Veterans Memorial Field House opened in 1950. The team was lead by the famed Cam Henderson, who coached until the spring of 1955. He died that summer.

Does anyone have a 1949-1950 roster handy?
