Gallery: Boston College students wrap up work with Habitat, Day 5

Mar. 08, 2013 @ 10:15 PM

The 14 Boston College student volunteers wrapped up their Spring Break in Huntington on Friday afternoon.

As part of the Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge, the students worked on Habitat houses on Jefferson Avenue and Ninth Avenue.  It was exciting to see the four outside walls of the Ninth Avenue house completed after a week filled with delays due to the inclement weather.

The students will meet up with other Boston College Appalachia Volunteers in Charleston on Saturday morning for their journey back to Boston.

To volunteer your group or as an individual, contact the local Habitat affiliate at 304-523-4822 or www.hahabitat.org
