Severe thunderstorms packing heavy rain, lightning and strong winds that gusted up to 70 mph hit the state Saturday, knocking out power to hundreds of thousands and killing two young cousins who were camping with their families when a tree fell on their tent. Atlantic City Electric said more than 206,000 customers lost service during the storm, and about 170,000 still had no power as of late Saturday afternoon. (AP Photo/Mel Evans)
