As the week wrapped up for the Carthage College student volunteers, major progress could be seen on the 10th Avenue Habitat house.

Roofing was complated on Thursday. On Friday, March 23, following the traditional going-away lunch, the students had a brief tour of Huntington.

On Friday evening, the staff of Huntington's Kitchen welcomed the Habitat staff, construction volunteers and Carthage students for a fun-filled evening.  A make-your-own pan pizza party with all the trimmings was filled with  choices of pizza toppings.  A special dessert pizza was created by Kitchen Manager Andie Leffingwell.

The volunteers headed back to Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday morning.
