Jessica Lynch, center, visits with Mohammed Odeh al-Rehaief, the Iraqi attorney who told U.S. forces where to find Lynch while she was a hospitalized prisoner of war in Nasiriyah, Iraq; his wife, Iman; and his 6-year-old daughter, Abir. The al-Rehaief family and Lynch met at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C., in April 2004, and Lynch thanked al-Rehaief for his part in her rescue.

Pfc. Jessica Lynch, orginally from Wirt County, W.Va., was rescued from Iraqi capture on April 1, 2003. Lynch gained national attention after her rescue and is now a teacher, student and motivational speaker.
