Gallery: Johns Hopkins University student volunteers help with Habitat house, Day 5
The extremely cold March 22 morning did not put damper on the determination of the Johns Hopkins University students to complete the roofing and other tasks at the future home of Gloria Greene. The sunshine definitely warmed the spirit of this dedicated group of volunteers. Lunch break was followed by words of appreciation, presentation of this year's official Collegiate Challenge t-shirts and good-byes from David Michael, Ken Jordan, Nikki Hagerman and the regular volunteers. The students presented a photo collage and group photos for display on the "wall of fame" at the local Habitat office. A special Habitat-design cake was made by the students in their home-away-from-home at First Presbyterian Church. The message on the cake said it all — Thank You!
