A public hearing for the proposed Fairfield West redevelopment plans took place before the Huntington City Council Monday, June 10, 2013 at Huntington City Hall. The redevelopment plan involves building modern affordable housing units in Fairfield West and demolishing the aging Northcott Court public housing complex on Hal Greer Boulevard for commercial development. The city is working on the redevelopment plan with the Huntington Housing Authority, which owns Northcott Court.
