This house is located in barboursville and for more than 40 years had been decorated for the Christmas season. The house is owned by Johnny Gue and even though I have only been apart of the family for 23 years being married to his son, when we would travel home from Rhode Island our kids would always know that we were at Pawpaw's house because of the Christmas lights. We now live here and keeping up the family tradition. My husband Johnny Gue Jr., and our son JJ carry on the tradition. When we talk to people and they want to know where we live we just tell them it's the house that has the Christmas lights with the big tree of lights during the holidays and they know because of how long the family has decorated the house. We live in a fast-paced world these days with so many changes that it is a comforting feeling to have some things that we know will never change and always be there every year. That will be the case with our Christmas lights.
