Hunter won the local NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition in the Girls' 10-11 age group at Barboursville Middle School on Sept. 20. She advanced to the Regional Competition at University of Charleston and took first place with a punt of 43'7", a pass of 63'3", and a kick of 68'8".

The Spring Valley Colorguard placed first at the Marshall University Tri-State Marching Band Competition on Nov. 6, 2010.
