Mountain Thunder 12u ASA softball team recently traveled to Portsmouth, Ohio, to the Baseburners tournament, in which they won the championship. Players include Allison Toney, Alyssa Morris, Cassie Weaver, Cassie Adkins, Emily Fry, Savannah Eplin, Jessica Watts, Kaci Riffle, Morgan Kelly, Nicole Simpson, Milkayla Thompson and Morgan Zerkle. Coaches are Vince Weaver, Steve Watts and Presley Adkins.

The Charleston Volleyball Club 13 and under "Red Hots" won the silver medal in their division at the Ohio Valley Regional Volleyball Tournament in Columbus, Ohio, on May 17. Tumble World Dream Dynasty all-star cheerleading team from Chesapeake, Ohio, recently was named World Champion at the Final Destination World's Best Worlds competition in Virginia Beach, VA.
