WV Panthers 10u AAU Girls Basketball came in 1st place at the GBA Bobcat Classic held at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. 17-U WV AAU State Champions - Team Excel! left to right Jacob Ashworth,Coach Jerry Adkins, Jeremy Adkins, Mike Lamb, Cole Hatfield, JJ Martin, Korey Goad, Ross Evans, Jacob Lucas, Coach Chris Ball. WV Team Excel is undefeated in all three AAU Tournaments played... Princeton, WV, Louisville, KY, & the State Tournament in South Charleston, WV. They will advance to the Nationals played in Orlando, FL. in July.

Andrea Hart, 8th grader at Winfield Middle School. Has been setting high marks on the track team this year. Within the first 4 track meets of the season she has broken the school record in shot put and discus at least 7 times.
