GALLERY: Camden Park's Spooktacular

Oct. 11, 2007 @ 09:04 AM

To twist the words of Kenny Chesney, at Camden Park, everything gets haunted when the sun goes down.

The historic family-run amusement park rolls out the creepy clowns, the haunted train and two haunted mazes for its 9th annual Spooktacular.

The Halloween-themed event with 20 rides and attractions runs 6 to 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in October.

Located at U.S. Route 60 West, Huntington, Camden Park also has tricked out its historic, dark house ride, the Haunted House, a unique gravity-fed roller coaster that is one of the last of its kind in the country.

There’s also a balloon artist on Fridays and Saturdays and a puppet show each Saturday.

Tickets are $16.99 and there is a $5 off coupon on the Camden Park web site at www.camdenpark.com.
