Gallery: Johns Hopkins University student volunteers help with Habitat house
Nine student volunteers from Johns Hopkins University are in Huntington this week to help with building a Huntington WV Area Habitat for Humanity house.
Mayor Steve Williams visited the worksite at lunchtime to present the group a City of Huntington Proclamation naming Monday, March 18, 2013, as Johns Hopkins University Day in Huntington. The students, part of the nationwide Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break Program, will be helping at the new home on 9th Avenue and with other HFH projects throughout the week.
