Mar. 29, 2013 @ 01:03 PM

NEWTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Authorities say a West Virginia logger has died after coming into direct contact with a power line.

Mingo County officials say 27-year-old Elbert Allen Hinkle of Beech Creek was shocked in a non-work-related accident near Newtown while taking his lunch break earlier this week.

WCHS-TV reported that was near the C&A Lumber job site when he was killed.

No other details on the accident were available.
