59 people arrested, booked overnight in West Virginia

BARBOURSVILLE  - There were 59 people arrested and booked overnight in West Virginia’s Regional Jails.

   There were 11 people booked into the North Central Jail and 10 booked into the Southern Regional Jail.

    Locally, at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville, there were eight people booked overnight Sunday. Two were booked on felony charges.

  At about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Nathan Michael Chapman, 32, was arrested by a member of the Cabell County Sheriff’s Department on a felony charge of domestic battery as well as a felony charge of manufacturing a controlled substance, (marijuana).

  At about 3:05 a.m., Christopher Brian Porter, 28, was arrested on a felony charge of grand larceny by a member of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department. Neither person had seen a magistrate as of 11 a.m. Sunday.
