Several charged with felony crimes
BARBOURSVILLE — Several people from Cabell, Putnam and Wayne counties were jailed on felony charges late Saturday and early Sunday morning at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.
Charles Ray Poole, 59, was incarcerated at 1:56 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony counts for wanton endangerment and a person prohibited from possessing a firearm. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Jeffrey Alan Mays, 41, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony count of wanton endangerment. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Ranson Bailey Ward, 56, was incarcerated at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him a felony count of with first-degree robbery. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Jeffrey Lee Dillard, 52, was incarcerated at 8:20 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony count of malicious wounding. Bond was set at $50,000.
Jennings Edward Salisbury, 49, was incarcerated at 8 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and two misdemeanor counts of obstructing and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $70,000.
