State police seek suspect in break-in
CULLODEN -- West Virginia State Police are looking for a man who they say broke into a woman's home Friday night.
Troopers were dispatched to a home in the 1900 block of U.S. 60 in Culloden just after 7 p.m. said Sgt. Greg Losh.
A woman told troopers she was home alone in the second story of her home when she heard her dog bark downstairs, Losh said. When she went downstairs, she found a man lying on her couch, and she fled the area. The man also fled from the scene.
Losh said the man forced entry into the woman's home by breaking a window out of the front door of the home, but no one was injured during the incident.
Troopers searched the area, but they were unable to locate the man Friday night.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s, who is 6' tall and wearing blue jeans. Losh said he was carrying a yellow plastic bag at the time of the incident.
