Five jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Five people were jailed on felony charges since Monday, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Joseph Lloyd Smith, 29, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with being a fugitive from justice, along with misdemeanor obstruction, petit larceny and destruction of property. Bond was denied.

Courtney Ann Paxton, 22, was incarcerated Monday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with a felony bond revocation. Bond was denied.

Danuell Marcum, 39, was incarcerated Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged her with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and a single count of conspiracy. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Christy Dawn Speer, 37, was incarcerated Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged her with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Robert Lee Evans, 39, was incarcerated Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and a single count of conspiracy. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
