SHAUN AARON NICHOLS, 32, formerly of Barboursville, died March 21 at home in Orlando, Fla. ELSIE POYNTER, 92, of Huntington, W.Va., mother of Lynette Spreacker, died March 28 at home. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with funeral arrangements, which are incomplete.

JAMES EDWARD STROTHER, 73, of Ashland, Ky., widower of Audrey Hill Strother, died March 27 at his son’s home in Ray, Ohio. He retired from Armco Steel in the rigger and pipe shops. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Miller Funeral Home, Ashland; burial in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens, Ashland. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
