64 people arrested and booked overnight in West Virginia

BARBOURSVILLE  — There were 64 people arrested and booked overnight in West Virginia’s Regional Jail system.


 Both the Eastern and the North Central Jails booked in 11 people each.

 In Barboursville, the Western Regional Jail booked in nine people overnight.

 Gaston Herbert Smith, III, 19, was arrested in Huntington by a member of the Huntington Police Department for a DUI with drugs, a misdemeanor charge. Smith was also charged with a felony —  possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
