Three arrested on meth charges
BARBOURSVILLE -- Fifteen people were arrested Sunday morning and booked at the Western Regional Jail, seven of them on felony charges.
Anthony Keith Legg, 38; Bernard Dean Legg, 24; and Jordan Leigh Laprad, 20, all of Fraziers Bottom were brought in by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department on meth lab charges.
Anthony Legg was charged with transferring and receiving, seven counts of possession and attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.
Bernard Legg and Laprad were both charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.
They were booked about 9:30 a.m. and were awaiting arraignment Sunday in Putnam County Magistrate Court.
Also arrested Sunday was James Arnold Hart, 56 of Huntington, who was charged with wanton endangerment by the Huntington Police Department. He awaited arraignment Sunday in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
James Loren Burgess, 24 of Sod, was arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and charged with entering without breaking and grand larceny. He awaited arraignment Sunday in Lincoln County Magistrate Court.
Cornelius Todd Allen, 36 of Huntington, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and charged with possession with intent, driving under the influence and speeding. He awaited arraignment Sunday in Wayne County Magistrate Court.
Gregory S. Holsinger, 28 of South Point, Ohio, was arrested by HPD on charges of burglary and domestic battery. He awaited arraignment Sunday in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
