Pullman Square hosts a 'Sugar Plum Tea Party'

Nov. 11, 2012 @ 12:14 AM

HUNTINGTON — More than a dozen members of the Jeslyn Performing Arts Center participated in a “Sugar Plum Tea Party” and had other activities Saturday afternoon at Pullman Square.

Dressed in tutus, the girls were drumming up publicity for performances of the Nutcracker next month at the arts center on 4th Avenue, according to Summer Logan.

Performances are scheduled at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8 and at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14, 15 and 16. The girls involved in youth ballet do a Christmas performance every year.

“We’re trying to promote the show and arts in Huntington,” Logan said.
